VOLUNTEER ROLES

  • If you’re a person who likes people this role is for you!

    Volunteer in this group handle responsibilities such as Athlete Check-In & Corall, Athlete Warm-Up Area, etc.

    A key component to the athlete experience this role requires a good attitude and great communication.

  • This is the most physically demanding of all the roles, but often the most rewarding. If you enjoy picking things up and putting them down again, bending, reaching and carrying this is the role for you.

    This essential role encompasses setup, teardown, moving equipment on and off the competition floor, and equipment changes between events.

  • This sport depends on our judges and their ability to be accurate, consistent and above all fair and impartial.

    The quality of judging is largely responsible for the success and reputation of an event.

    Judges should be prepared to validate athlete’s performances against programmed movement standards, maintain an accurate rep counts, and record correct scores whether they be finish times, reps or weights..

    Completion of the 2024 CrossFit Judges Course (online only) before the event is recommended.

    CrossFit L1 Cert or above is not required.

  • Our Media team is responsible for telling the story of the weekend, the athletes and their performances to t e world!

    As a part of the video, photo, social media, live production, or broadcast team you can expect to be on your feet for most of the day.

    It’s an asset, but not a requirement to have previous event experience.

  • Our medical team includes nurses, doctors, firefighters, paramedics, first responders and medical sports professionals like athletic therapists, physiotherapists and chiropractors.

    Current CPR and/or First Aid certification is required.

    These positions provide medical support to athletes, volunteer and staff as needed.

  • Attention to detail, and a love of data are some of the key components that make someone a great scoring teammember.

    Responsible for the tabulation and input of scores, this team is also responsible for the managment of scorecards on on and off the competition floor.

  • As a special teams individual you should be quick on your feet and ready to handle anything that comes your way. From helping with volunteer check-in, supporting our sponsors, and other special assignments this role is a lot of fun and you’ll get to experience all aspects of the competition.
